Who we are

This privacy policy applies to the Scede AI Skills Sticker Book, a product of Scede Ltd, a recruitment consultancy based in the United Kingdom.

What data we collect

When you sign in with LinkedIn or Google, we receive and store:

• Your full name
• Your email address
• Your profile picture (if provided by your sign-in provider)

We also store your game progress — which skills you have completed and when.

We do not collect passwords. We never see your LinkedIn or Google credentials.

Why we collect it

We collect your name and email to:

• Save and restore your sticker book progress across sessions and devices
• Understand how people are engaging with the content so we can improve it
• Occasionally share relevant resources or follow-ups from Scede (you can opt out at any time)

Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of consent. You provided this when you ticked the consent box before signing in. You can withdraw your consent at any time by requesting deletion of your data (see below).

Where data is stored

Your data is stored on servers in the EU West (Ireland) region, provided by Supabase. Data does not leave the European Economic Area.

How long we keep it

We retain your data for up to 12 months after your last activity. After this period, your record is deleted. You can also request deletion at any time.

Who can see your data

Your data is visible only to authorised Scede staff for the purposes stated above. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Deletion — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection — object to us processing your data

Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. No third-party analytics scripts are loaded on this site.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the game after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
